Industrial visit for autopsy in AIIMS, New Delhi
Students of B.Sc. and M.Scforensic Science along with three faculty members attended the Autopsy visit at Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, AIIMS, New Delhi on 11th April 2022
Dr. AK Jaiswal, Chemist, Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, AIIMS addressed the students. Dr. A.K Jaiswal guided and motivated the students for future opportunities in field of Forensic Science. The students were taken to Autopsy lab, where Dr. Vighanesh Raj and Dr. Gokul explained the autopsy procedure, steps involved during post mortem of the body. There were two post mortem bodies, one was a case of gunshot and other one was of hanging. The investigating officer along with doctors cleared the doubts of the students.
