Workshop on DNA fingerprints and hands-on training
A two-day workshop on DNA fingerprints and hands-on training was organized in collaboration with Ingenomics Private Limited from 8-9 November 2023.
The workshop aimed to provide the participants with a comprehensive understanding of DNA fingerprinting techniques and practical skills through hands-on training sessions.
Dr. Rajendra V.E Chilukuri, Director, Scientific Applications, IngenomicsPvt. Ltd., Dr.Shivkant Sharma, Senior Application Scientist, Ms. Akansha Dixit, Application Scientist and Ms. Jagriti Khanna, Junior Scientific Assistant, emphasized the importance of DNA profiling in the field of forensics and provided hands-on workshop on collection, modernised DNA extraction, examination and preservation of DNA.
