An online webinar on “ Awareness about Commodity Derivatives” was conducted by Mr Vinit Kaler, Senior Manager Training and Education Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) of India Ltd for MBA first year students today i.e. Monday 10th Jan 2022 as part of the re- registration on first day of even semester for Academic year 2021-22. The webinar gave an insights to students into commodity markets in India with emphasis on commodity derivatives.
Mr Vinit shared live trading terminals to explain derivative and future trading in commodities to students thereby giving them real time understanding of the concept of derivative trading. Students interacted with Mr Vinit at the end with some relevant questions which were replied to their satisfaction. Overall it was nice learning experience for students. GDGU has entered into an MOU with MCX wherein more webinars will be conducted and hands on training would be provided to students across the semesters.
