Professional Biography

Dr. Nusrat Khan’s expertise is in the area of human resource management and organisational behaviour. She started with her corporate career in 2000 as an HR Executive in a generalist profile. She has worked with national and international non- governmental organisations and as a researcher for projects with distinguished professors at Western Kentucky University (USA). She has taught in several well-known universities such as Noida International University and Galgotias University. She joined G D Goenka University in 2014 as an Assistant Professor in the School of Management.

At G D Goenka University also oversees the Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management area. She delivers several management subjects. She is also a member of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Member of the Departmental Research Committee for Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program of G D Goenka University, Member of the Examination Moderation Committee, serves as an Associate editor the of G D Goenka Journal and is a student mentor.

Nusrat Khan holds a PhD (Management) from the ​Department of Business Management, Maharaja Krishna Kumar Sinhji Bhavnagar University (Formerly known as Bhavnagar University); MBA (HRM)​ from​  ​ Department of Business Management, Maharaja Krishna Kumar Sinhji Bhavnagar University, and ​ B.Sc. from Sir P.P.Institute of Science, Maharaja Krishna Kumar Sinhji Bhavnagar University. She has also completed her Advanced Course in Behaviour Testing, University School of Management Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

Current Research

​Nusrat Khan's current research interests are on transformational leadership, turnover intention and employee engagement. She has keen interests in leadership, Social Intelligence and Emotional Intelligence.
