Introduction:

With 27+ years of experience, Shefali specialises in bespoke residential and commercial interiors. A CEPT Ahmedabad alumna, she was mentored by design legends Ar. B.V. Doshi and Prof. H. Kumar Vyas.

Her academic credentials include:

• B.Des (CEPT Ahmedabad) — Thesis- “Language of COLOUR - an analysis and study of colour in restaurant spaces”
• M.Des (Sushant School of Design) — Dissertation: “Retail Design – interactive, immersive, Experiential”

Shefali worked across Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi NCR, blending cultural context into each project. Shefali demonstrates a deep understanding of different cultures and geographies, enabling her to create spaces tailored to specific contexts and needs.

A Professor of Practice since 2015, Shefali mentors design students by offering practical insights and real-world knowledge through mentorship. She has co-authored papers on colour psychology.
