On 26th of September, 2018, School of Management organized guest lecture on theme “The Customer Experience Paradigm”. Lecture was conducted by Ms. Jyotsna Makkar, Head marketing, HMD Mobile India Pvt Ltd. Ms. Makkar is a marketing leader with over 20 years of building and leading some iconic, loved and celebrated brands – Pepsi, Microsoft, Nokia. She has rich experience across Brand Strategy and Portfolio Management, is passionate about both the Art and the Science of Marketing and of building systemic, Modern Marketing capabilities in teams and organizations.

 

She started her lecture talking about her initial days working for Pepsi co. Currently she is working on to bring back lost glory of Nokia. She had an interactive session with management students on how various brands create experience for their customers. She explained how marketing is shifting from mass marketing to engagement marketing. She talked about various ways of engaging customers. In the end she was presented with token of appreciation by Dean SoM , Prof. (Dr.) Kim Menezes.
