Webinar on Computational Design- Exploring Grasshopper and Rhino (11 September, 2021)
Staying abreast with technology trends, the school conducted a session on Computational Design. It is the application of computational strategies to the design process replacing the traditional method where designers rely on intuition and experience to solve complex design problems and processes. Our students were apprised about how computational design aims to enhance that process by encoding design decisions using a computer language. The webinar centered on exploring parametricism by demonstration of creating a twisting tower in Rhino Grasshopper. The speaker on board was Ms. Sanya Vithalkar based in the United States of America, she has been an expert in the field of Computation Design.
