Dr. Sapna Bansal is a distinguished legal academic, researcher, and institutional leader with over two decades of diversified experience in academia, administration, research, and professional legal practice. Currently serving as Associate Professor and Head of the Centre for Environment and Sustainable Development at GD Goenka University, she also contributes significantly as a member of the IQAC and Head of the OBE Committee. She holds a Ph.D. in Law, an LL.M with a specialization in Commercial Law, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Patents, Copyrights, and Cyber Law. She has played a pivotal role in curriculum reform, academic audits, NAAC processes, accreditation, and policy implementation. An expert in Family Law and Environmental Law, Dr. Bansal has an impressive research portfolio with numerous publications in SCOPUS, ABDC, Web of Science, and UGC-CARE indexed journals, along with several conference presentations at national and international platforms.

Dr. Bansal is actively involved in editorial and peer-review roles, including serving as Co-Editor of a SCOPUS-indexed journal and reviewer for several reputed journals. She is also a certified mediator and arbitrator, currently handling arbitration matters and delivering training sessions on ADR mechanisms. Her leadership extends to syllabus drafting committees, research capacity-building initiatives, and organizing major academic events.
