Participation in 7-Day NSS National Integration Camp
Sakib Khan, a student of B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, GD Goenka University, actively participated in the 7-day NSS National Integration Camp organized at Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, Haryana, from 04 November to 10 November 2026. The camp was organized with the objective of promoting national unity, cultural harmony, social responsibility, leadership qualities, and the spirit of service among youth from diverse regions of the country. The program witnessed the participation of NSS volunteers from various universities and colleges across different states, fostering interaction, cultural exchange, and mutual understanding.
During the camp, Sakib Khan participated enthusiastically in all scheduled activities, which included the inaugural and valedictory sessions, national integration discussions, personality development lectures, leadership training sessions, group discussions, yoga and physical fitness activities, cleanliness and awareness drives, community outreach programs, and cultural evenings showcasing India’s unity in diversity. He actively engaged in inter-state cultural exchange programs, debates, and thematic presentations focusing on national integration, social harmony, youth empowerment, and the role of NSS in nation-building. His consistent involvement, discipline, teamwork, and leadership qualities were evident throughout the camp duration.
Sakib Khan also contributed meaningfully to community service activities conducted during the camp, where NSS volunteers interacted with the local community, spread awareness on social issues, and promoted values such as cleanliness, cooperation, and civic responsibility. His positive attitude, cooperative nature, and commitment to NSS ideals helped strengthen group coordination and effective execution of camp activities. Owing to his active participation, sincerity, and overall performance in both academic and co-curricular dimensions of the camp, he received district-level recognition, which stands as a testament to his dedication, enthusiasm, and exemplary conduct as an NSS volunteer.
