Signing of MoU between GD Goenka University and Centre for Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science
On 4 November 2025, School of Engineering and Sciences, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Centre for Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science (CCIFS). This collaboration marks a significant step forward in advancing forensic science education and research, paving the way for joint academic initiatives, training programs, and knowledge exchange between academia and industry. Together, CCIFS and GD Goenka University aims to empower the next generation of forensic professionals with hands-on learning, research exposure, and interdisciplinary expertise.
The ceremony was graced by eminent dignitaries including Prof. (Dr.) Dinesh Shenoy, Vice Chancellor, GDGU, Prof. (Dr.) Dhirendra Singh Parihar, Registrar & Pro-Vice Chancellor, Administration, GDGU, Prof. K. Thammi Reddy, Dean, SoES, Dr. Anindita Roy Chowdhury, Assistant Dean, Prof. (Dr.) Naresh Sharma, Head, DBAS, and Ms. Mala Bharti, Assistant Professor, SoES.
We were honoured by the presence of the CCIFS & TSA team – Dr. Tabish Sarosh, Director, CCIFS & TSA, Ms. Kirti Gupta, Ms. Himanshi, Ms. Tamanna Sharma, Ms. Baby Kumari, and Ms. Munira Iqubal, whose expertise and dedication to forensic science continue to inspire students and professionals alike.
