Dr Sharaf U Nisa is an academician and researcher with over 9 years of combined reserach and teaching experience.She hold a Phd in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) with specialization in manufacturing and production engineering.She has demonstrated proficiency in developing aluminum metal foams with optimized pore morphology and improved mechanical properties, supported by robust data analysis and statistical modeling.She has a proven track record in leading research initiatives, mentoring teams, and publishing in peer-reviewed journals including Institute of Merchanical Engineers London ans Elsevier.Her skills include material characterization techniques (SEM, EDX, XRD), welding methodologies (submerged arc, TIG, stick welding, friction stir welding), and advancing technologies like additive manufacturing and Industry 4.0.She has proved her leadership skills by leading various training initiatives led by IIT Delhi and Foundation for smart Manufacturing (FSM) ,for the companies such as TATA Motors Limited.
