Prof. (Dr.) Seema Mishra

The center is dedicated to advancing innovation, incubation and applied courses having tangible scientific, social and economic benefits for empowering scholars, researchers, students and professionals in their pursuit of knowledge and excellence.

Dr. Mishra with over 25 years of experience is having diverse specialization in R&D that includes climate change, sustainable waste management, plant microbe interaction and dissemination of technologies at rural and urban interface in Haryana, Rajasthan, U. P. M. P. and Maharashtra states of India. Dr. Mishra is skilled in designing need-based research programmes and conducted several R&D & consultancy projects with support of government, non-government and industrial agencies in funded and bid modes.

Prof. Mishra is academically astute and highly qualified professional with experience to teach at doctorate, postgraduate and undergraduate levels in the areas of Ecology and Biodiversity, Environment Management (environmental compliance, waste management, climate change, environment management systems, life cycle assessment and circular economy) and Sustainability (CSR, ESG- policies, standards, disclosures and frameworks). She has authored and edited books and published quality research papers in international and national peer reviewed journals.

Prof. Mishra has demonstrated her leadership skills with expertise in institution and team building during her previous tenures as a director of the institute and a college.

• Expert Member – State Knowledge Centre of Maharashtra in Climate Change (SKMCC), Govt. of Maharashtra – 2019- 2023.
• Chairman - Board of Studies in Environmental Sciences, Tribhuvan College of Environment and Development Sciences, Nalanda University Center – 2023- 2024
• Subject Expert – Board of Studies in Environmental Sciences, University of Mumbai 2019- 2027.
• External Expert AcCSIR Ph.D. candidate selection committee and conducted coursework lectures at National Environmental Engineering and Research Institute (NEERI), Mumbai from 2015- 2023.
