Established in 2013 and located in Gurugram, Delhi NCR, GD Goenka University is a leading multidisciplinary institution of higher education. About Central University of Haryana (CUH)

Central University of Haryana is one of the fifteen new Central Universities established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India (GoI) in XI Five Year Plan (2007-2012) under the Central University Act-2009 of the Parliament. The University has been accredited with ‘A’ Grade in the second cycle of NAAC assessment and accreditation conducted in August 2023. The University has been listed among the top 150-200 Universities in NIRF ranking. The University is fully funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The Permanent Campus of the University is situated in 484 acres of land at Jant-Pali Villages, Mahendergarh district of Haryana from where CUH is running its academic operations. Presently the University offers 86 academic programmes (UG/PG/Research)

About the Conference

TLASH 2.0 , hosted by GD Goenka University, will build on the success of TLASH 2024 to further explore the role of higher education institutions in advancing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The conference will bring together scholars, policymakers, and industry leaders to discuss innovative strategies for integrating SDGs into education, research, and institutional policies. Through meaningful deliberations by SMEs, panel discussions, poster presentations, and research presentations, TLASH 2.0 aims to showcase best practices, strengthen global collaborations, and address emerging challenges in sustainability. With a strong focus on actionable solutions, this event will serve as a platform for meaningful dialogue and transformative initiatives in higher education.

Objectives

  • To further the transformative potential of SDGs and the role of HEIs in achieving them.
  • To showcase successful initiatives and best practices by HEIs in integrating SDGs into their teaching, research, and community engagement activities.
  • To foster collaboration and partnerships between HEIs, governments, the private sector, and civil society organizations to accelerate progress towards the SDGs.
  • To identify challenges and opportunities in mainstreaming SDGs within higher education.
  • To develop recommendations for a comprehensive action plan for HEIs to contribute effectively to the 2030 Agenda.

Call for Papers

Original unpublished articles are invited for submission to the following tracks including the topics, but are not limited to:

  • Track 1 – Innovations in Health, Equity & Environmental Sustainability Governance.
  • Track 2 – Transforming the World: Strategies for SDGs Safety.
  • Track 3 – Sustainable Innovations in Businesses for Growth and Development Health Management.
  • Track 4 – Legal Innovations for Sustainable Futures: The Role of Law Schools in Advancing SDGs Management.
  • Track 5 – Sustainability through the Lens of Indian Knowledge Systems
  • Track 6 – Innovations and Sustainability in Organic Farming: Pathways to Food Security and Climate Resilience
  • Track 7 – Role of Industry, Educators and Partners in Hospitality & Tourism: Promoting conscious consumption, good health, and well-being endeavours towards sustainable economic growth

Note:

Papers having similarity index and AI content up to 10% will only be considered and authors need to submit the plagiarism check report (turnitin) along with the full paper.

Corresponding authors need to pay the publication charges for all accepted papers.

Guidelines for poster

Poster participants are expected to follow the following guidelines for poster making.

Font size and type:

  • Use font either Arial or Times New Roman throughout the poster and avoid fancy fonts.
  • All headings except for topic title should be 36 font size and in bold, capital letters.
  • Subheadings font size should be 30 pt., bold and in all capital letters.
  • References and Acknowledgments font size should be 20 pt.
  • Text should be 20 to 26 pt, which should be visible from 3-6 feet (1-2 meters) distance. Avoid lengthy notes.
  • The poster board should be not more than 0.95 meter (95 cm), wide by 1.2 meter and height (120 cm).

Abstract Submission Guidelines

Authors will need to submit an abstract of not more than 200 words by the stipulated submission date.

Shortlisted submissions shall be notified for further submission of full-length papers.

  • Full papers should ideally be no more than 11 typeset pages
  • The main text should be no more than 4,500 words (not including Abstract, Methods, References and figure legends)
  • The title should be no more than 20 words, should describe the main message of the article using a single scientifically accurate sentence, and should not contain puns or idioms
  • The abstract should be no more than 200 words

Submitted Full Paper will be reviewed by eminent

scholars in the respective areas. Selected papers may be

extended for Journal Publication / Conference

Proceeding (SCI/SSCI/Scopus/Refereed /journal).
