Mr. Chaitanya Tipre

Chaitanya Tipre is a multidisciplinary designer, educator, and creative professional with a Master of Design (M.Des.) from NID, Gandhinagar, and a Bachelor of Architecture (specialized in Interior Design) from Pune University. His academic foundation combined industrial design, visual communication, and design thinking, which enabled him to work across diverse creative disciplines while maintaining a strong user centric approach. He has built a rigorous, research driven foundation in design methodology, creative problem solving, and systematic innovation.

With 10 years of professional experience, Chaitanya has worked across game design, product design, AR/VR-based experiences, concept art, creative direction, and campaign design. With over 15 completed and launched products and experiences, he has served as a Creative Lead guiding multidisciplinary teams in developing interactive design products and entertainment experiences. Complementing his professional practice, he has actively contributed to design academia as a visiting faculty member and external jury panelist at leading design institutions, including NID and NIFT, effectively bridging industry expectations with academic pedagogy.

His specializations lie at the intersection of narrative, systems, and future-focused design, encompassing design strategy, visual storytelling, speculative design, future mobility, and concept art. He has a keen interest in the concept of gamification, its application in everyday life and pedagogy, and its effects on human behavior. Through both his professional practice and teaching, he encourages students to combine creativity with critical thinking, experimentation, and human-centered design.
