Mohd. Aamir Nayyar is a Design Graduate from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Gandhinagar, with a Specialization in Jewelry Design. He is also Post Graduate in Fashion & Textiles from Pearl Academy validated by Nottingham Trent University, UK. He has 18+ years of professional experience in diverse areas, including jewellery & accessory design, graphic & communication, product and furniture design. Also, he holds expertise in the Crafts sector wherein he has worked towards promoting design development and indigenous methods to streamline crafts in design education.

He has been an Academician since 2007 and has associated with several design institutions, including NIFT, IICD, Pearl Academy, Aayojan School of Architecture, IIAD, and UID. He has served as an external jury and BOS member in other institutes as well.  He contributed to the development of the curriculum at the Maharaja Ranjitsingh Gaekwad Institute of Design (MRID) Baroda, Gujarat, and has co-authored course material for the 1-Year Certificate Course in Jewelry Design, SoVET, IGNOU, Delhi. 

Currently, he is associated with  Unitedworld Institute of Design, NCR Campus,  HOD Foundation Studies Department.
