A Leap into Quantum Technology: GD Goenka University Signs MoU with Prenishq
GD Goenka University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Prenishq, an IIT Delhi spin-off supported by the National Quantum Mission (NQM), Government of India on 15 April 2026.
GD Goenka University, known for its focus on academic excellence, innovation, and quality education, continues to build meaningful collaborations that strengthen future-ready learning. This partnership marks an important step towards advancing quantum technology education by enabling hands-on training, industry exposure, and meaningful knowledge exchange between academia and industry platforms, aligned with national priorities in quantum capacity building.
The MoU was formally signed by Dr. Bodhaditya Santra, CEO, Prenishq, and Prof. (Dr.) Dhirendra Singh Parihar, Pro Vice Chancellor (Administration) and Registrar, GD Goenka University. The initiative was encouraged and endorsed by Prof. (Dr.) Dinesh Shenoy, Vice Chancellor, GD Goenka University, highlighting the University’s commitment to frontier technologies. The occasion was further strengthened by the presence and support of Prof. (Dr.) K. Thammi Reddy, Dean, School of Engineering & Sciences, along with Prof. (Dr.) Anindita Roy Chowdhury, Assistant Dean of the School and Deputy Dean, Academics, whose sustained efforts and facilitation contributed towards this collaboration. This association reflects a shared commitment to preparing students for emerging technology-driven futures.
