Thrive with Our Alumni” featuring Dr. Shyda Rana, an Independent Education and Institutional Improvement Consultant, who delivered an impactful session on career counselling. Dr. Rana, drawing from her vast professional experience, emphasized that choosing a career is a holistic process that goes beyond academic performance. She explained that careers are shaped through a thoughtful balance of self-awareness, interests, aptitudes, values, and life goals. Students were encouraged to reflect on their strengths, identify their passions, and explore diverse opportunities before making informed decisions. She highlighted that career selection is not a single moment of choice, but a continuous journey of exploration and growth. Factors such as adaptability, openness to learning, and the willingness to embrace change play a crucial role. Dr. Rana also underlined the importance of mentorship, networking, and skill enhancement in navigating career pathways effectively.
