Bala-Kalakar 2025 was successfully organized on 1st November 2025 at Mount Abu Public School through a collaborative effort between the NSS Unit of GD Goenka University and AIESEC in Delhi IIT. The initiative was designed to support underprivileged children by providing a creative platform for self-expression, confidence building, and social interaction through art-based activities. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 120 children associated with partner NGOs, supported by more than 60 NSS volunteers who played a vital role in planning and execution. The programme featured a well-structured lineup of activities including volunteer orientation, warm welcome of participants, guest felicitation, a drawing competition, cultural performances, and an impactful street play focusing on social awareness. The vibrant environment encouraged creativity, teamwork, and joyful learning among the children. Certificates and refreshments were distributed to both participants and volunteers, adding to the overall experience. The event not only created lasting memories for the children but also strengthened values of empathy, leadership, and community service among volunteers. The collaboration with AIESEC enhanced inter-organizational coordination and execution efficiency, making the initiative a true reflection of NSS values of service, social responsibility, and nation-building.
