"The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step—and for our newest BBA and B.Com students, that step started with Deekshaarambh – Student Orientation Programme at the School of Management, GD Goenka University.

The day commenced with registration and document verification, followed by an inspiring inaugural session and a warm welcome from the Dean Prof. Dr. Smitha Girija. Students had the privilege of learning from our distinguished keynote speaker, Mr. Tirthankar Rakshit, Director Sales, Philips, whose insightful address encouraged them to embrace continuous learning, adaptability, and leadership in an ever-evolving business landscape.

Dr. Ramandeep Kaur , BBA Programme Head and Dr. Abhishek Jha , BCom Programme Head introduced students to the School, faculty mentors, and the vibrant academic ecosystem. This was followed by a guided campus tour showcasing the University's world-class facilities. The day concluded with the completion of admission formalities, institutional email creation, and ID card issuance, ensuring students are all set to begin their academic journey.
