The Department of Nursing, GD Goenka University, organized an educational visit to Banas Dairy Plant, Faridabad, for the 3rd Semester B.Sc. Nursing students, under the guidance of the Department of Nursing.

The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to the dairy processing industry and enhance their understanding of milk production, processing, pasteurization, packaging, storage, and quality control procedures.

During the visit, students gained valuable insights into the various stages of milk processing, hygienic practices, food safety measures, quality testing, and the importance of maintaining proper sanitation and cleanliness in dairy production. The visit also helped students understand the nutritional importance of milk and milk products and their role in promoting community health and preventing nutritional deficiencies.

The visit was informative and interactive, providing students with an opportunity to observe industrial operations closely and connect their theoretical knowledge with practical applications. It also highlighted the importance of food hygiene, safety standards, and quality assurance in protecting public health.
