The future of AI learning starts here!

Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming our daily lives, enabling smarter, safer, and more comfortable living through improved healthcare, personalized learning, faster services, enhanced communication, and more efficient decision-making across homes, workplaces, and society. Recognizing this pivotal shift, GD Goenka University has taken an initiative to strengthen its AI-driven academic ecosystem. Very few institutions in India offer such advanced facility for Teaching Learning & Research.

We are proud to announce the opening of the state-of-the-art Dell–NVIDIA AI Lab at School of Engineering and Sciences equipped with following advanced capabilities that represents a major leap forward in our journey toward cutting-edge AI education and research.

• Successfully established the AI lab on a high-performance Dell PowerEdge R760XA server powered by NVIDIA L40S GPUs, enabling advanced AI/ML/Deep Learning workloads.
• Installed and configured Ubuntu Server 24.04 LTS, including required disk partitioning and network settings.
• Enabled the complete NVIDIA software stack by installing compatible NVIDIA drivers and the CUDA Toolkit.
• Verified GPU readiness and visibility using nvidia-smi.
• Deployed Slurm Workload Manager in single-node mode for job scheduling and resource management.
• Slurm services operational, with slurmctld and slurmd running on the same system.

Our B.Tech. students specializing in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Cyber Security, and Data Science, will now access the powerful platform to work on AI projects, innovation challenges, and transformative research. The school is proud to announce the launch of B.Tech. in Quantum Computing from the upcoming academic session, opening doors for students to explore the next frontier of computing and future-ready technologies.

This advanced infrastructure will empower our students, researchers, and faculty to work on real-world AI challenges, from data science and computer vision to Generative AI and high-performance computing.
