"On February 19, 2026, the Finance Club, School of Management, GD Goenka University, organized the event titled “Expert Insights on The Union Budget 2026: A Moderated Discussion” at the University, UID Auditorium. The session featured Mr. Mohit Gupta, Chartered Accountant and Partner at PNAM & Co. LLP, as the Guest Speaker. The discussion was moderated by Mr. Himanshu Sardana, Professor of Practice, and Dr. Sunrita Chaudhuri, Area Chair, Finance.

The session opened with a high-energy welcome by Finance Club members Riya and Suhana, who introduced the theme of the day, deconstructing the fiscal roadmap of India. In a gesture of respect and warmth, Dean School of Management Prof (Dr.) Smitha Girija felicitated the guest, Mr. Mohit Gupta.

Mr. Gupta broke the formal ice by sharing that he is an alumnus of GD Goenka School and his excitement to return to his alma mater as a mentor. He promised the audience that the session would skip "technical jargons" in favor of "pure storytelling" to show how the budget can act as a mission and vision document for our careers and investments.
