The Department of Computer Science, School of Engineering and Sciences, GD Goenka University successfully organised a One-Week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Agentic AI using Azure AI Services” from 23 to 29 July 2026, in collaboration with CloudThat Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a Microsoft Solutions Partner. The FDP provided participants with practical exposure to Azure AI Services, intelligent AI agents, Agentic AI concepts, and industry-oriented AI applications, along with hands-on learning and insights into AI/DS certification preparedness. The FDP was conducted under the leadership and guidance of Dr Rajat Sharma, Head, Department of Computer Science. The sessions were facilitated by Dr Pooja Sharma, Subject Matter Expert at CloudThat Technologies Pvt. Ltd. The FDP was organised by Dr Prateek Jain, with Mr Ajay Chauhan serving as Faculty Coordinator. The FDP served as an enriching platform for faculty members to strengthen their understanding of emerging Agentic AI technologies and explore the potential of Microsoft Azure AI for teaching, research, and real-world applications.
