Celebrating Innovation, Leadership & Excellence at IBM ICE Day 2026!

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering and Sciences, GD Goenka University proudly hosted IBM ICE Day 2026 on 19–20 February 2026 in collaboration with the IBM Innovation Centre for Education (ICE), under the theme “Accelerating Excellence: From Learning to Leading.”

The inaugural ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries including Prof. (Dr.) Dinesh Shenoy (Hon’ble Vice Chancellor), Prof. (Dr.) Dhirendra Singh Parihar (Pro-Vice Chancellor, Administration & Registrar), and Prof. (Dr.) K. Thammi Reddy (Dean, School of Engineering and Sciences). The event was further enriched by eminent IBM and industry leaders such as Mr. Viqaruddin Surki, Ms. Jayashree Padmanabhan, Mr. Chidananda P E, Mr. Vikesh Sharma, Mr. Ashish Pachauri, Mr. Rakesh Singh, and Mr. Sameer Rajvanshi. The event was organized by Dr. Manu Banga, Organizing Secretary, Prof. (Dr.) Anindita Roy Chowdhury, Co-Convener, Dr. Akhilesh Latoria – Co-Convener and Head of the Dept. - CSE, and Dr. Rajat Sharma, Co-Convener and Head of the Dept. - CS with dedicated support from the Organizing Committee members - Dr. Yogesh Kumar, Dr. Manka Sharma, and Dr. Priya Goyal, along with the active involvement of faculty coordinators, committee members, and enthusiastic student volunteers.

From Poster Making, Technical Paper Presentation, Project Exhibition, Hackathon, and Treasure Hunt to inspiring expert insights and prize distribution, the two-day celebration showcased the incredible talent, creativity, and problem-solving spirit of our students. A heartfelt congratulations to all winners and participants, and sincere thanks to the faculty coordinators, organizing team, and student volunteers for making this event a grand success!
