In the era of AI, GD Goenka University has taken a significant leap in advancing cutting-edge technological education and research with the inauguration of its High-Tech Dell–NVIDIA AI Centre of Excellence—a state-of-the-art facility designed to enable next-generation Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Deep Learning research powered by high-performance computing.

The centre is equipped with Dell PowerEdge R760XA servers integrated with NVIDIA L40S GPUs, delivering exceptional computational capability to support data-intensive workloads, complex simulations, and real-time AI model training. This robust infrastructure positions the university at the forefront of academic excellence and industry-aligned AI innovation, enabling faster experimentation, scalable development, and impactful outcomes.

Dell–NVIDIA AI Centre of Excellence was formally inaugurated on 30 January 2026 in the esteemed presence of the Chief Guest Mr. Ajay Goel, Managing Director, Nagarro, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Dinesh Shenoy, Dr. Dhirendra Singh Parihar, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) and Registrar, Prof. (Dr.) K. Thammi Reddy, Dean, School of Engineering and Sciences, along with faculty members, researchers, and students.

During the inauguration, a detailed discussions highlighted the strategic significance of AI Centre of Excellence, its technical architecture, and its real-world applications for research and industry-oriented learning. The facility will serve as a powerful platform for faculty-led research, interdisciplinary initiatives, and hands-on student training across domains such as:
