On 7th November 2024, G.D. Goenka University hosted an enlightening session on "Resume Making and Interview Preparation," led by Mr. Akhilesh Chandra, Director of the Corporate Resource Center (CRC). This event, organized by the university's Career Services, attracted numerous students eager to enhance their employability skills and gain practical advice on creating effective resumes and preparing for job interviews.

Mr. Chandra began the session by emphasizing the importance of a well-structured resume as the first step toward securing a job. He explained that in today’s competitive job market, a resume must serve as a powerful marketing tool that captures the attention of hiring managers in a short span of time. Mr. Chandra stressed that employers often spend only a few seconds scanning each resume, so it is essential to ensure that it stands out through clarity, precision, and relevance.
