"The School of Management at GD Goenka University officially commenced 'Deeksharambh', the orientation programme for the incoming MBA batch of 2026–28, on July 20, 2026. Designed to blend academic grounding with professional growth, the first week featured intensive sessions focused on knowledge enhancement and corporate readiness. Industry leaders shared invaluable perspectives, beginning with Chief Guest Mr. Siddharth Kasera , CFO at Siemens, who emphasized the importance of cultivating an interdisciplinary mindset to solve complex business challenges. Mr. Sanjay Rastogi from Tata Advanced Systems guided students on building T-shaped professional profiles, while Mr. Anirudh Mundhra from BCG highlighted the transformative power of self-belief and personal narratives. Furthermore, Mr. Amit Mitra, Senior Partner at MSKA & Associates Associates, detailed corporate expectations regarding ethics, adaptability, and leadership, which was complemented by comprehensive academic briefings from the Dean, Registrar, and university leadership regarding regulations and evaluation standards.
