The Mental Health Assessment Camp was organized on 17 October 2025 as a part of the Mental Health Celebration Week hosted by the School of Liberal Arts, GD Goenka University. The primary objective of the camp was to enhance self-awareness among students by offering a structured opportunity to assess key areas of their psychological wellbeing. The event took place near Udyami Bazar and saw the active participation of 50+ students from diverse academic backgrounds, conducted by MA Counselling Psychology and BA (H) Psychology program student. Under the supervision of Mr. Amit Kumar, the camp administered a series of standardized psychological assessments, including the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, Ten-Item Personality Inventory (TIPI), Dysfunctional Attitude Scale (DAS), and Rotter’s Locus of Control Scale. These tools collectively provided insights into participants’ stress levels, self-esteem, personality traits, belief patterns, and control orientations.

Throughout the camp, students engaged enthusiastically in completing the assessments and discussing their outcomes. Each participant received an individualized explanation of their results, helping them interpret their scores accurately. Many expressed curiosity, excitement, and a sense of self-discovery as they explored aspects of their personality and thought patterns that they had not previously recognized.
