Organized by the Department of Physiotherapy (SoHAS), GD Goenka University, as part of World Physiotherapy Day 2026 celebrations, this competition invited physiotherapy students to showcase creativity and scientific knowledge through innovative models. The theme was "The Role of Physiotherapy and Physical Activity in the Prevention, Management & Rehabilitation of Cardiovascular Disease and Stroke." Students participated individually or in teams of up to three, building original models illustrating concepts such as cardiovascular disease prevention, stroke rehabilitation, functional recovery, cardiopulmonary physiotherapy, and mobility. Entries were evaluated on scientific accuracy, relevance to the theme, innovation, presentation quality, and the participants' verbal explanation of their models. Winners received exciting prizes and certificates of recognition, while the registration deadline for entries was set for 7 September 2026. The event directly supports SDG 3 by raising awareness of cardiovascular disease prevention and rehabilitation, SDG 4 by encouraging students to creatively apply academic knowledge and build scientific communication skills, and SDG 9 by inspiring innovative, model-based approaches to problem-solving within healthcare education.
