Can leadership be built in a classroom alone, or does it take something more?

The School of Management, GD Goenka University, has signed an MoU with Indiahikes to launch the Himalayan Leadership Lab, an experiential programme that takes learning beyond lecture halls into the demanding environment of the Himalayas.

Designed to shape real-world capability, the programme focuses on developing operational grit, decision-making and leadership under pressure. From managing logistics in unpredictable conditions to working through team dynamics and shared responsibility, students experience leadership in its most practical form.

By stepping outside the classroom, this collaboration redefines how management education prepares students to lead with clarity, resilience and confidence.
