GD Goenka University , School of Management organized a session “Mulling over Interim Budget 2024-25” on February 1,2024 for students of management.

The session included a live screening of Interim Budget 2024-25 speech by Finance Minister of India, Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman with objective of providing students a practical exposure to the process of fiscal policy making , its announcement and the ensuing debates on the effect of the policies on various sections of the economy.

The live screening was very enthusiastically watched with discussions on the major announcements in an informal set up. 

Dean Prof (Dr.) Smitha Girija appreciated the efforts of School of Management ,FINANCE CLUB and Prof Sunrita Chaudhuri, Faculty head of Finance Club for managing the event effectively and efficiently and the student for attending the screening.
