National Constitution Day Celebration
The National Constitution Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 26 November 2025 by the NSS Unit, where all volunteers participated with exceptional dedication and patriotic spirit. The event aimed to honour the adoption of the Indian Constitution and to promote awareness of its core values—justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity—among students and the community. The celebration began with an introduction to the significance of Constitution Day, followed by a focused discussion on the historical evolution of the Indian Constitution. NSS volunteers actively engaged in conversations on the contributions of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and other members of the Constituent Assembly, highlighting the Constitution as the guiding framework of democratic India. This session helped the participants deeply understand the rights and duties of every citizen and the importance of constitutional morality in nationbuilding. A major highlight of the programme was the multilingual Preamble Reading Activity.
NSS volunteers prepared and recorded videos of the Constitutional Preamble in various Indian languages, showcasing the linguistic diversity and unity of the nation. These videos reflected the rich cultural fabric of India and strengthened the spirit of inclusiveness among the students. Additionally, volunteers created a special social media reel to commemorate the auspicious occasion. The reel captured moments from the celebration, including the Preamble recitations, group discussions, and messages promoting constitutional values. It was later shared on institutional platforms to spread awareness and inspire wider participation. The event successfully fostered a sense of national pride and civic responsibility among the volunteers. The efforts of the NSS team in organizing meaningful, creative, and informative activities made the National Constitution Day celebration impactful and memorable.
