The Department of Clinical Psychology, GD Goenka University, organised an RCI-approved CRE Programme, “Navigating Suicide Risk: From Identification to Evidence-Based Intervention and Ethical Practices,” on 27 October 2026, with 49 participants.

The programme featured four sessions on Suicide Risk Assessment and Crisis Management, Understanding Risk in Mental Health, Psychiatric Social Work Perspectives, and Ethical and Legal Decision-Making.

The sessions highlighted evidence-based assessment, suicide prevention, psychosocial interventions, safety planning, and ethical and legal responsibilities in clinical practice. Sign language interpretation was provided to promote accessibility and inclusive participation.
