The NSS Unit of GD Goenka University celebrated NSS Day–2025 on 24th September 2025 with great enthusiasm under the theme “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” at the B-Block Auditorium. The inaugural session witnessed the presence of distinguished dignitaries including Chief Guest Dr. Lata Suresh, Guest of Honour Dr. Harsh Kumar, and Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Mr. Dinesh Shenoy. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a welcome address emphasizing the importance of service, discipline, and social responsibility among youth. Cultural performances by NSS volunteers beautifully showcased India’s unity in diversity, while the felicitation of Best NSS Volunteers and the induction of new office bearers added significance to the occasion. The program also witnessed enthusiastic external participation from students representing various universities across Delhi-NCR, fostering inter-university collaboration and exchange of ideas.

The celebrations further included a series of vibrant competitions such as Ek Kala Painting, Rang Fusion Music, Nritya Sangam Dance, and “Janta ki Adalat” Debate Competition, providing students with platforms to express creativity, talent, and critical thinking. Participants showcased their skills across art, music, dance, and public speaking, making the event lively and engaging. The valedictory session held on 26th September 2025 concluded the celebrations with prize distribution and appreciation of participants, reinforcing the NSS motto “Not Me, But You.” Overall, NSS Day–2025 was a grand success, inspiring students to actively contribute towards community service and nation-building.
