On 11 th May School of Management, GD Goenka University, Students of BBA and B.com recently had the opportunity to attend a One – Day Awareness Programme On “Cooperation” at the NCUI (National Cooperative Union of India) in Hauz Khas, New Delhi.

Upon the arriving at the Venue, the students were greeted and welcomed by a friendly team and organizers of NCUI, who guided us through the registration process. The session was conducted by Rajeev Sharma, Director (Coop Connect & Project), NCUI . He elaborated on cooperation business model and key initiatives of NCUI. After the education session, students had lunch in the mess and then visited NCUI Haat and NCUI incubation centre where we gained in – person experience on the products made by the lesser- known SHGs & coops . 

Overall the workshop was well organized and insightful , and students were given certificates, gifts. The visit was coordinated by Ms. Preeti Sharma & Dr. Mohd. Azmi Khan.
