PCR & Advanced Molecular Techniques Workshop for Pharmacy Students
A hands-on training workshop on PCR and advanced molecular techniques was successfully conducted for M.Pharm and B.Pharm students by the Department of Pharmacy, SoHAS, on 21st November 2025.
The workshop was organized by Dr. Arti Kumari (Assistant Professor) and Dr. Rubina Bhutani (Associate Professor), in coordination with Dr. Naorem Tarundas Singh, Research Associate II, National Brain Research Centre (NBRC)who served as the distinguished resource person.
Dr. Tarundas delivered an insightful and interactive session, demonstrating key molecular workflows, explaining advanced concepts, and guiding students through step-by-step experimental procedures. Students actively participated and gained valuable exposure to the practical applications of molecular techniques in pharmaceutical and biomedical research.
The workshop significantly enhanced their scientific understanding and motivated them toward research-driven career paths. A token of appreciation was presented by Dr. (Prof.) Saahil Arora, Dean SoHAS and Convener of the event.
