The NSS Unit of GD Goenka University enthusiastically celebrated “Sardar@150” from 28th to 30th October 2025, marking the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The three-day programme aimed to honour his legacy of unity, integrity, and nation-building through a series of meaningful and engaging activities. The celebration included painting and poster competitions that creatively reflected the ideals and contributions of Sardar Patel, a pledge-taking ceremony promoting humanity and Nasha Mukti (drug-free living), and a debate competition that encouraged students to express their views on national integration and social responsibility. Additionally, a cleanliness drive was organized to promote civic sense and environmental awareness among students and the local community. The event witnessed active and enthusiastic participation from NSS volunteers, highlighting their commitment to social causes and community service. Conducted under the supervision of Dr. Kunal Adhikary, NSS Programme Officer, the celebration successfully instilled values of leadership, responsibility, and patriotism, reflecting the true spirit of NSS and the vision of Sardar Patel.
