The Departmental Series Seminar (DSS) on the topic “Soil Quality Assessment and Organic Carbon Storage in Different Land Use Systems of Gwalior-Chambal Region” was successfully conducted on 20/05/2026 in online mode. The seminar was presented by Ms. Bhavana Tomar (Ph.D. Soil Science) under the guidance of Dr. P. R. Pradhan. The session focused on the assessment of soil quality indicators and organic carbon storage under different land use systems of the Gwalior-Chambal region. It highlighted the importance of soil health, carbon sequestration, and sustainable land management practices.

The seminar also covered the objectives, methodology, key findings, and practical implications of the research. Faculty members, research scholars, and students actively participated in the seminar and engaged in fruitful discussion.
