The School of Law, G D Goenka University successfully organized a special session on the occasion of World Intellectual Property Day 2026, centered around the theme, “ International Property Rights in Sports.” The session was delivered by Mr. Rupin Chopra, Associate Partner at S. S. Rana & Co. who shared valuable insights into the evolving interface between intellectual property rights and the sports industry.

Mr. Chopra’s engaging and thought-provoking lecture highlighted critical issues such as branding in sports, protection of athletes’ rights, licensing, and the commercial dimensions of sports law.
