Strengthening Academia–Industry Synergy | Leadership in Action

The Corporate Resource Centre (CRC), GD Goenka University, in collaboration with the School of Law (SOL), successfully conducted a high-impact session on “Decoding New Labour Codes in India.”

The session was kicked off by Neeraj Sahani, Head – Corporate Resource Centre, setting the context for meaningful academia–industry collaboration. The initiative was effectively supported by Ruby Verma, Placement Manager, ensuring smooth execution. We were honored to have:

• Guest of Prestige Mr. Pradeep Hatgaonkar, Country Head – HR, Astemo India, who also led the session with seamless coordination
• Subject Expert Speaker Dr. Dakshita Sangwan, Associate Professor, School of Law, GD Goenka University

The session brought together HR leaders from Astemo India (Pan India), creating a strong platform for knowledge exchange and strategic dialogue.

The discussion offered practical insights into India’s evolving labour landscape, bridging regulatory frameworks with real-world industry practices—an essential perspective for future professionals and institutional readiness.

The session concluded with a highly engaging Q&A round, reflecting active participation and thought leadership from all stakeholders.
