The NSS Unit of GD Goenka University successfully organized the “Swachh Gaon Sundar Kal” cleanliness rally on 30th September 2025, promoting hygiene, sustainability, and community participation. The rally saw enthusiastic involvement from NSS volunteers, members of Navjyoti Foundation, and local school students, who actively raised awareness through slogans and engagement activities. Volunteers formed a “Swachhta Police” group, issuing friendly challans to encourage cleanliness, while also interacting with villagers to spread awareness about waste management and personal hygiene. The initiative was further supported through the donation of sanitary pads, sanitizers, and soaps to the Navjyoti Foundation. Overall, the event effectively instilled a sense of responsibility, self-reliance, and commitment towards maintaining a clean and sustainable environment.
