TEDx GD Goenka University 2026 – Thrive: The Resilient Mind

TEDxGDGDU 2026 was successfully organized on 9 May 2026 at G.D. Goenka University, themed - “Thrive: The Resilient Mind.” The event brought together distinguished speakers, entrepreneurs, educators, diplomats, innovators, and thought leaders to engage in meaningful conversations on resilience, transformation, leadership, and purposeful growth in a rapidly changing world. The event commenced at 9:00 AM and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, academicians, professionals, and invited guests.

The programme began with the ceremonial lamp lighting followed by a graceful Ganesh Vandana performance. The inaugural address was delivered by Dr. Dinesh Shenoy, Vice-Chancellor of the university, who emphasized the importance of resilience, innovation, critical thinking, and compassionate leadership in shaping future ready individuals, highlighting how platforms such as TEDx encourage intellectual engagement, creativity, and socially meaningful dialogue among young minds.

Mr. Nipun Goenka, Managing Director, GD Goenka Group and Pro Chancellor, addressed the gathering and spoke about the significance of creating spaces where ideas, courage, and creativity inspire transformation and collective progress. Dr. Anjali Midha Sharan, Dean of Research & Development and School of Liberal Arts, introduced the central TEDx theme and reflected on the importance of moving beyond survival towards intentional growth, and emotional resilience.

TEDxGDGDU 2026 featured 16 distinguished speakers from diverse fields including entrepreneurship, education, fitness, diplomacy, design, mental health, leadership, and public policy. Through a series of engaging talks and interactive sessions, the speakers shared powerful insights on emotional resilience, redefining productivity, quiet leadership, entrepreneurship, motherhood, wellbeing, and personal transformation. The event also included cultural performances, networking sessions, and audience interactions.

The programme concluded with the valedictory address delivered by Dr. Dhirendra Singh Parihar, Pro Vice-Chancellor and Registrar. He reiterated the university’s commitment to fostering interdisciplinary learning, innovation, and transformative dialogue through platforms that celebrate ideas worth spreading.

TEDxGDGDU 2026 emerged as a vibrant celebration of resilience, creativity, and meaningful conversation, reinforcing the university’s vision of nurturing socially conscious, emotionally resilient, and globally aware individuals prepared to thrive in an evolving world.
