When She Leads, Science Succeeds

From Vision to Impact: Celebrating Women in STEM - School of Engineering and Sciences in collaboration with Institution's Innovation Council, Ministry of HRD Initiative.

BioBeacons and SciVenture Clubs of School of Engineering and Sciences, in collaboration with Institution's Innovation Council, a Ministry of HRD Initiative, celebrated the International Day of Women and Girls in STEM.

The event commenced with an inspiring address by Prof. (Dr.) Thammi Reddy Konala, Dean, emphasizing the importance of curiosity, inclusivity, and innovation in shaping the future of academia. Prof. (Dr.) Anindita Roy Chowdhury, Assistant Dean and the Speaker for the event, reflected on the legacy of pioneering women in science. Prof. (Dr.) Seema Mishra, Professor, highlighted emerging opportunities and the evolving landscape of STEM careers.

An engaging quiz session and open speech segment encouraged students to share perspectives on representation, challenges, and aspirations—celebrating the resilience and perseverance of generations of women in science.
