Visit report to IIT Delhi
B. Pharm students from the Department of Pharmacy, School of Healthcare and Allied Sciences, visited IIT Delhi on 24th April 2026 for an industrial–academic exposure, where they were introduced to various high-end analytical and characterization techniques. During the visit, they observed the working principles and applications of advanced instruments such as NMR, FT-IR, GC-MS, SEM, and TEM. Experts at IIT explained sample preparation, data acquisition, and interpretation methods, enabling the students to understand the role of these technologies in research, drug analysis, and material characterization.
The visit proved highly informative, effectively bridging the gap between theoretical learning and practical experience, and greatly motivating the students toward research and advanced analytical practices.
The visit was organised by Dr. Rubina Bhutani, Dr. Arti Kumari, and Ms. Komal, in coordination with the Head of the Central Research Facility, providing students with valuable exposure to cutting-edge research infrastructure and practical scientific workflows.
