As part of World Mental Health Week (10–16 October 2026), the School of Liberal Arts, GD Goenka University, organised an Open Mic Competition on 15 October 2026, centred around the theme "From Breakdown to Breakthrough." The event provided a safe and creative platform for students to express their experiences, emotions, and journeys of resilience through stand-up comedy, poetry, and storytelling.

A total of 15 participants took to the stage, captivating the audience with performances that were heartfelt, thought-provoking, and inspiring. The afternoon resonated with laughter, applause, and deeply personal narratives, complemented by a beautiful musical performance which added to the warmth and reflective spirit of the event.
