UID’s Game Design & Game Programming programme fuses creativity, narrative and technology to prepare the future generation of experience makers.
Students discover how games are imagined, designed and brought to life from the “concept” phase to actual play. The program combines game play mechanics, level design, coding, human computer interaction (HCI) principles and interactive storytelling to provide the students with both creative and technical aptitude needed for competing in the multi-billion dollar gaming industry worldwide.
Curriculum Details
The program merges design thinking with computational process to provide a studio-based experience which fosters collaboration between artists, designers and computer scientists to make games that push the medium of the game itself.
