Dr. Aashish Sharma is the Professor in the Department of Pharmacy at G.D. Goenka University. With over 16 years of academic and research experience, he is PhD program leader, managing the PhD program of SOHAS. he has served in SFI Centre for Research in Medical Devices (CÚRAM), National University of Ireland, Galway, Ireland as Post-Doctoral Biomedical Scientist. During post-doctoral tenure, he has developed a surgical sealant for femoral anastomosis for one of the leading medical device company Boston Scientific, Galway Ireland. His work integrates biomaterials with research-driven teaching.

He has been awarded research excellence award, 2024 form GD Goenka university, Prominent alumni award-2019 form Nirma University, Ahmedabad and GATE-2006 and GATE-2009 fellowships.
