Dr. Saahil Arora, Dean & Professor at the School of Healthcare & Allied Sciences, G.D. Goenka University, is a renowned pharmaceutical scientist with over 30 years of academic and industrial experience. Formerly Director at Chandigarh University, he earned his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Punjab Technical University, Kapurthala. His groundbreaking research includes liver-targeted drug delivery for malaria, nasal-route brain-targeted therapies, and muco-penetrating systems for gastric ulcers using novel biomaterials. During his tenure at Wave Pharmaceuticals, he developed innovative products and managed regulatory approvals and exports to Russia and CIS countries. He has been honored by Pharma Lok, Punjab Pharmacy Council, and SPER for his outstanding contributions. An experienced academic leader, he has played key roles in research committees, accreditation processes, and organizing prestigious national and international scientific events. He is also the recipient of the Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Pharmacy Profession by the Punjab State Pharmacy Council, recognized as a Leader of Purpose by Chandigarh University, and holds certification as an Approved Manufacturing Chemist by the Andhra Pradesh FDA.
