E-Sports

The BSA E-Sports Club organized a gaming competition on 17 January 2024. The event saw participation by around forty gaming enthusiasts who engaged in the games PUBG Battle Royale Bonanza and Tekken Tournament Throwdown. The event saw an unforgettable gaming experience full of intense battles, epic victories and electrifying atmosphere. The event saw, Vivhan Roy, BCA, Batch 2022-2025, School of Engineering & Sciences emerge the winner, followed by Deepanshu, BTech CSE, Batch 2021-2025, School of Engineering & Sciences at the second place and Tejas Maheshwari, BTech CSE, Batch 2021-2025, School of Engineering & Sciences at the third place.

Chess

The Chess Club of BSA Sports organized a Chess Tournament on 24 January 2024. The tournament was in a knock-out format and included 5 rounds with each round in a ten minute rapid format. Rounds of intense competition saw Devashish, B.Tech, Batch 2021-2025, School of Engineering & Sciences emerge winner, followed by Shubham Thakran, MBA , Batch 2023-2025, School of Management at the second place and Seemant Thakran, B.Tech, Batch 2023-2027, School of Engineering & Sciences at the third place.

Arm-Wrestling

The Arm-Wrestling Club of BSA Sports held an Arm Wrestling Competition on 24 January 2024. The excitement in the air was palpable as contestants struggled it out. Rigorous rounds of competition saw Krish Vashisht, BCA, Batch 2023-2026, School of Engineering & Sciences, emerge winner, followed by Varshit. B.Sc., Batch 2021-2024, School of Engineering & Sciences, in second place.

GPL

The Cricket Club of BSA Sports organized the annual cricketing extravaganza, GPL - Goenka Premier League, from 26-29 January 2024. The event saw overwhelming participation of six teams for the tournament. Rigorous rounds of battles on the cricket pitch saw Team Stormbreakers vie with Team Panthers in the semi-final and Team Red Rebel locked with Team Royal King for the semi-final. Teams Red Rebel and Storm Breakers finally reached the finals with team Stormbreakers, led by Vanshaj Rathi, B.Tech, Batch 2020-2024, School of Engineering & Sciences emerging winner, followed by Team Red Rebel led by Sahil Dogra, M. Psy., Batch 2022-2024, School of Liberal Arts, in second place. Vanshaj Rathi was also the star of the tournament as he secured awards for Player of the Tournament, Best Batsman, Best Bowler and Man of the Match.

Table Tennis

The Table-Tennis club of BSA Sports organized a knock-tournament in both the girls and boys category on 07 February 2024. Thrilling rounds of competition saw Chayasnigdha Nath, BBA, Batch 2022-2025, School of Management emerge winner followed by Shreya Jaiswal, B.Tech, Batch 2023-2027, School of Engineering & Sciences at the second position in the girl’s category. The boy’s category saw Pranav Arora, MBA, Batch 2022-2024, School of Management emerge winner followed by Seemant Adhikari, B.Tech, Batch 2023-2027, School of Engineering & Sciences at the second position.

Arm-Wrestling

The arm-wrestling club of BSA Sports held an arm-wrestling competition on 14 February 2024 in various weight categories ranging from 50-100 Kg with further bifurcations of right and left hand. The event saw participation by seventy plus participants. Multiple rounds of competition saw .

Pickleball

The BSA Sports Pickleball Club hosted a thrilling knockout tournament on February 21, 2024. The event drew enthusiastic participation from students, eager to engage in this exciting new game on our newly refurbished multi-court. In the finals, Seema Guliya, MBA, Batch 2022-24, from the School of Management emerged as the winner in the girls' category, with Anushtha Jain, MBA, Batch 2022-24, from the School of Management securing the second position. In the boys’ category, Sagar Sharma, B. Tech, Batch 2021-25, from the School of Engineering & Sciences claimed victory, with Aman Rao, MBA, Batch 2023-25, from the School of Management coming in second.

Kho-Kho

The Kho-Kho club of BSA Sports organized a thrilling tournament on April 3, 2024, which attracted a significant number of student participants. The tournament followed a knockout format, adding an element of suspense and excitement to the games. In an exhilarating final match, the team from the School of Engineering & Sciences emerged victorious, showcasing their exceptional skills and teamwork. The winning team included Riddhima, Urvi Singh, Aparna, and Devashish from B.Tech CSE, Batch 2021-25; Neha, Anshita Jain, Lakshita Raghav, Suhani Dahiya, Pranav Jain, and Rudresh Raj from B.Tech CSE-AI, Batch 2021-25; Ayush, Himanshu, Sarthak, Seemant, Chetan, and Aanya Jain from B.Tech CSE-AI, Batch 2023-27; and Chhavi Nagpal from BCA, Batch 2022-25. Their victory was a testament to their hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship.

Lawn Tennis

The BSA Sports Lawn Tennis Club organized an exciting tournament featuring both Men’s and Women’s categories on 10 April 2024. Following a knockout format, players engaged in friendly yet intense games. Vivek Goyal, BBA Batch 2021-24 from the School of Management, clinched the Men’s category, with Manas Agarwal, BBA Batch 2022-25 from the School of Management, securing the runner-up spot. In the Women’s category, Chhavi Nagpal, BCA Batch 2022-25 from the School of Engineering & Sciences, claimed victory, with Jyoti Kumari, BBA Batch 2021-24 from the School of Management, finishing second.
