With a strong foundation in the health sciences—including Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Optometry, Public Health, and Allied Health— the University produces highly skilled healthcare professionals equipped to address contemporary health challenges. Our vibrant research culture promotes impactful interdisciplinary studies that contribute to global health priorities and evidence-based clinical practices.

The University maintains more than 37 active collaborations with reputed hospitals, health institutions, MedTech companies, and NGOs, ensuring meaningful knowledge exchange, clinical exposure, and capacity building. Through extensive outreach programmes led by NSS, Rotary, and institutional health initiatives, GDGU promotes hygiene, nutrition, mental health, sports, reproductive health, and preventive care across diverse communities, including vulnerable and underserved populations.

A smoke-free campus, accessible mental health services for students and staff, reproductive health education, and shared community sports facilities reflect our holistic approach to health and well-being.
